My story about Grace starts several years ago when I was going through a ton of horrible stuff head-on. The loss of a baby, losing all of my belongings, struggling with breaking negative soul-ties and more. In the midst of all that turmoil, I had Grace and didn’t even realize it. But let’s be real – I’ve noticed that most people have taken the undeniable Grace of God for granted and/or ignored it at least sometime in their life – as I have. So, there I was years later, still lamenting over the worst points of my life and all of my own mistakes, having strayed and in a very minimal relationship with God, longing and praying for His presence to only realize suddenly that He had been with me from the start all along. It was an ah-ha moment at its finest. For me, it became a “Grace” moment – a moment of getting it.
Grace is one of those qualities that’s difficult to define yet unmistakable when we encounter it… it’s not just an outward politeness or charm, but something deeper— something that God gives us all. It brings calm, kindness and understanding into any situation. For me, grace has become a guiding principle, something I strive to embody even when life feels overwhelming or unfair. Grace is more than an ideal; it’s an action, a way of living that transforms relationships and strengthens character.
Grace looks like forgiveness. When someone extends grace through forgiveness, it creates space for healing and change. Its not easy to let go of hurt, and it takes courage to forgive, especially when the pain feels fresh. But true grace acknowledges the imperfection in all of us. It’s the recognition that everyone deserves a change to grow and do better.
Grace looks like compassion. It’s the willingness to understand someone else’s perspective and to respond with empathy. Grace doesn’t judge harshly or dwell on shortcomings, it seeks to uplift. When I practice compassion, i feel the transformative power of grace, both in myself and in those i encounter.
Grace looks like resilience. It’s the strength to keep moving forward despite challenges and setbacks, to face adversity with dignity. But for me, grace is the quiet resolve that helps me keep going, finding beauty even in difficult moments.
To live gracefully means choosing patience over impatience, and love over fear. Grace is a daily choice, a practice of being present, compassionate and true to myself. While I am very far from perfect, I believe that each small act of grace helps me become a better person and brings more kindness into the world.
So, I just want to thank you all, whoever is reading this page at this very moment, for joining me on this adventure! Grace in all its quiet power, is a gift we can give ourselves and each other, every day. I could not be more grateful for your support and companionship on this beautifully wild ride.
